What we keep, and why
This page says what happens to the information you give VCXplore.
What you give us
Your email address, your company's website, its name and, if you add them, a few sentences about what the company does, and whether you want to be visible to investors.
What we do with it
- Email. It is your sign-in. Google Firebase Authentication sends the first one-time link;
after that the link in each report mail opens your page without a password, on any device. We keep the address
so that we can send you those links and, once a report is ready, one message saying so; our page shows only a hint
such as
l***@company.com. You can disable every link sent so far from your reports page. No newsletters. - Website, name, description. We read your public website the way we read every company's, describe it in plain statements and compare it with the portfolios of the investors in our register. Your company then exists in that register. If you chose to be visible, investors looking for companies like yours can find it; otherwise it is used only for your report.
- The report. It is yours, on your page, as long as your page exists. Each new request is also announced to our own team in a private channel so that the first reports get a human look.
What we do not do
We do not sell or pass on your details, we do not profile you as a person, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The one cookie we set keeps you signed in on this device.
Where it is kept
On Google Cloud in the European Union. The sign-in runs on Google Firebase Authentication.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete what we hold about you and your company, including the company's entry in our register. Write to privacy@vcxplore.com.
